Lens Review
The Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II telephoto zoom lens.

Canon's 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II telephoto lens packs a lot of lens into a little package.

First off this lens is really lightweight, weighing about 13 ounces and it's also really small for a lens of this zoom range (55-250mm).

The manual controls are easily accessible on the side of the lens but the buttons need a lot of force to get them to move. The focus and zoom ring feature a rubber track that makes them easy to find and control. The focus is very smooth but the zoom feels like there's too much friction inside the gears. This makes zooming during video shooting almost impossible if you need a smooth zoom.

Image quality is surprisingly sharp considering the price tag of roughly $249.00.
